Hello blog, sorry, haven’t had much time for you this week. I went back to work, and …. well, had to work. Had a project dumped in my lap Tuesday, and had to get the analysis out by Friday 5pm. So, I have been rather preoccuupied.

Trish and I went for a curry at some friends last night, which was a nice way to end the week.

The shock to the system was getting up early today (after a late night) to take Nikki to the National Sporting centre at Bisham. The amatuer rowing association is doing a talent find for the 2012 Olympics, and Nikki is part of an assessment of over 4000 individuals from which they will pick 60 (30 of each sex) to fastrack. She did really well with the physical tests they put her through, we will have to wait and see if she has done enough – a tough ask, but fingers crossed.

A film crew for ITV was there, and Nikki was interviewed, and they followed her about as she did her physical tests. We are hoping she will be on the local news later.
