Another big day in McS household. Today Robbie left for uni. He packed the car with all his stuff, and he has just left with Tricia. So, Northampton becomes Robbies home for the next three years, with between term visits back to us. We all wish him luck in his uni adventure. Northampton isn’t that far, so Tricia will go across every few weeks to see him and make sure he is ok, and of course with e-mail and texting, they are never that far away.

Nikki got to Latvia safely, and starts the ice trials today. Good luck to her. We had a quiz night last night to help raise funds for her training…. it isn’t as if she can just go to the local sports centre for a bobsleigh session. The quiz night went well, but it’s a lot of hard work. For Tricia doing all the cooking (anybody want any chilli ? loads left) and setting the hall up, me preparing all the questions.

Oh well, on with Saturday, I am off to walk my 6 mile circuit in my new walking shoes, and tonight Tricia and I are off to Wycombe theatre to see Blood Brothers.
