A busy week as always seems to be the case. The main thoughts this week were not only with our family in Scotland, but also with Tricia’s mum who was having a gall bladder operation on Wednesday. Everything seems to have gone well, no complications, and shge came home the same day. Tricia saw her yesterday, and she looked well. Ellie and I have been rehearsing, Sleeping Beauty is nearly upon us. Last Sunday was a very long rehearsal, thena couple of ‘singing’ ones during the week.
I took Ellie to the gym again on Saturday, she worked hard, doing 5k on the treadmill whilst I worked hard on the xtrainer. I then took her for lunch in MK. In the afternoon she went for an audition at Aylesbury theatre, hoping to get a part in a production of Annie. She seemed to think it went well. We will see, she won’t hear for about 3 weeks.
Saturday evening was the Januray Safari Supper…. the theme this time was Devils and Angels. As always we had a few who came up with some lateral thoughts on this, one turned up as the angel of the north, and one couple as Hells Angels. A splendid evening that went very quickly.
Today I am off to Scotland with Steve, where we will meet up with my Dad and Mark for tomorrow’s funeral.
A few pics from the safari supper.
