for a few days. Came up by train yesterday evening. I was supposed to be on a direct line from Kings Cross to Hull, but the train gave up the ghost at Doncaster, so had to switch to a slower more cramped train. I arrived late and bothered.

I resigned from Kingston this morning. I shall be starting a new job in mid Jan with BP. Tonight is the company Xmas party night. Just as well I am getting the train back tomorrow morning.
